Sing along to your favourite Christmas tunes at the seventh annual Mayor’s Christmas Carols at Broadwater Parklands, presented by Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast.

Regarded as the premier Christmas event on the Gold Coast the night will be headlined by singing superstars Kate Ceberano and Anthony Callea, supported by local sensation Lisa Hunt and the Gold Coast’s very own A Cappella trio The Lions Den, alongside an impressive cast of talent.

With fun for the whole family the kids can be the first to see Santa this Christmas and sing along to their favourite Carols and PJ Masks Christmas Show. The night will also boast delicious food trucks and spectacular fireworks finale. Embrace the Gold Coast Christmas spirit under the stars at the Mayor’s Christmas Carols.

This free family-friendly event is hosted by Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast Ambassador Shelley Craft. Interactive kids’ fun commences at 2pm with the main show kicking off at 5pm.

Attention all film buffs and movie lovers! Make sure to head over to Sanctuary Cove for the fourth annual Sanctuary Film Festival.

Tickets are now on sale for the three-day boutique film festival which will showcase more films than ever before with a total of 38 films shortlisted to screen at the event, selected from over 150 submissions from 14 countries.

This years’ festival sees the return of the Gold Coast’s biggest outdoor film festival held at the Open Air Cinema, showcasing highly anticipated Australian premieres.

Families and film fans are invited to grab their picnic blanket and popcorn and secure a spot on the grass for a night under the stars as 14 thought-provoking short films are shown on the big outdoor screen.

Hosted by Heather Maltman from Sea FM, the compilation of films will also include the work of Ms Maltman herself, with her hilarious film A Skype Exchange, screening at the festival for the first time. Plus guests can rub shoulders with industry VIP’s as the red carpet is rolled out for a number of after-dark soirees when some of the industry’s biggest stars come out to play including the cast and crew of Dead Squad: Temple of the Undead.
